Preface
Listed below are articles relating to “how to trade stocks” with special focus on newcomers to the stock trading arena.
The stock trader is interested in the activity taking place in the stock market involving stock price changes and volumes of trading that takes place each trading day and also that has taken place over longer time periods.
Much of such activity can be shown in graphic form, together with their relationships to each other and to a variety of factors that commonly affect them. An analysis and interpretation of the information depicted in this way, usually in the form of a Stock Chart, is a frequently used procedure followed by many traders. The Stock Chart aids them in determining possibilities about what might happen in the future with the stock positions which they hold or in which they may be interested in buying or selling.
Analysis of stock charts is not a science and conclusions made from their interpretation may not materialize but stock charts are useful nevertheless. In keeping with our objective to learn how to trade stocks, we will make reference to them in many of the topics listed below.
